What Ever You Do // DON'T do this

Your beauty guide to quarantine

OMG girl I need a backfill! so do we!

if you are getting to a point where your nails are uncomfortable, your lashes are twisting, just hold up! because things could get really annoying or even painful.

to safely maintain your acrylic nails, use a preferred 180 or 150 grit nail file. These are available from pharmacy’s or probably somewhere in a bathroom bag in your bath cabinets from years and years ago.

First start by filing away some length, do this gently in a one direction file, careful not to be so rough that it can create damage to your nail bed if you go back and forth to roughly.

Second, to repaint your nails, file away the colour in one direction again, smooth out your nails with a buffer, so they are flush and have only a small layer of acrylic left, then re paint!

thirdly, the safest way for you to be completely removing them at home is the same as above, file, file, file, we have nothing but time ladies! at the end Gra some oils or your favourite hand moisturiser an nourish. Be careful not to ry to completely file away the acrylic as you could begin to file your nail bed and a full removal and nourish treatment is highly recommended to be fully carried out by a therapist or nail technician.

DO NOT

BY ANY MEANS

try to remove them with tooth floss/ clippers / acetone or chemicals

as for lashes… moisturise your eyes with clean fingers in a circular motion with an oil base makeup remover

such as: Bon Bon oil cleanse, coconut oil, micellar oil base.

a few rounds of doing that and the glue will eventually break down and those annoying stragglers and twisters will be gone before you know it with no damage done.

ALSO DO NOT

pull out your lashes, try make DIY home wax, or try do your own lash perm or extensions.

now go and re book a full set with your nail lady… NOT a backfill, since you know now just how much that miracle worker is worth!
